WHAT IS JUSTICE SEEKERS?

Justice Seekers is a club just for Fourth and Fifth graders to deepen your faith by exploring topics with the theme this year 'You Are Loved / Eres Amad@.' Our time together includes Fellowship (games), Christian Living (ways to live), Bible (scripture connections), arts (create), and acts of compassion (serving others). This is a great chance to become part of a mini youth group where you can love and be loved as God’s disciples.

This group is led by Kelly McCord and friends on Sunday afternoons from 4:00-5:15 pm. Due to COVID, we use a different outdoor spaces to our advantage. Each week we explore a new park! However, If you don't feel comfortable meeting in person, know you will not miss anything as you can call in and join us by facetime at 803-336-9540.

  • Process of Prayer
  • Prayer created by our Justice Seekers! “Dear God, we know how racism started, but we want to know how it ends. Why do white people treat black people wrong? It is not okay. We feel sad, angry, and frustrated. We are determined to see equality for ALL. Thank you for being loving, creative, and forgiving. Please help us to be more like you by learning & helping others to fight for peace. AMEN.”

Dialogue in Action: Discussions on News and Faith
Sundays, January 10th through February 14th 10:00am on Zoom

Class Description: Led by Will Wellman. Faith is often said to be a completely spiritual exercise, removed from the things of this world. However, as has been demonstrated by numerous Christians throughout the centuries, Christian faith demands an active engagement with the world and issues of the day. Join us as we read and discuss current news stories alongside various Scripture passages. We’ll explore what it means for us to “love God” and “love your neighbor as yourself” in the 21st century.

Email will@palmaceia.org with any questions.
