United in Christ!

Our Knights United in Christ this past Saturday in the church parking lot where we enjoyed a picnic lunch, ice cones, and snow making. We decorated our chariots with our armor of God, moved to some energizers, an at your car mixer, experienced Jesus walking on the water story, and gave thanks for all the different ways we were able to hold VBS in our homes this summer. We had 12 families participate on Saturday with 36 families and 70 kids participating in VBS during the summer.
There are many people to thank for putting together our Stay-Cation VBS:
I want to thank our Leaders - especially co-directors Kerri Edwards, Jess Hayden, Erin Holcome (science), Jana Alexander (art), Jason Fowler, Clare Seng (games), Jenelle Ferry (snacks), and Karyn Bersch (masks) and the larger VBS Dream Discernment team of Leah Maurer, Mary Taggart, and Lucy White under the direction of Children and Families team) And there were a slew of youth and some college students who came to put the boxes together for us. Megan Pearce helped us with the book drive too.
Hopefully, we will be assembling again in May 31st- June 4th 2021!

The church as a whole collected more than
1,000 books for our outreach project!
Thank you for participating so that children through Metropolitan Ministries have access to reading materials this summer!
$400.00 was donated to our mission of Faith Cafe for Hygiene Products
